June Goodwin

Maths & chemistry teacher at Spark Virtual Academy

I am a qualified Mathematics and Chemistry teacher with a Bachelor’s Degree in Education (Science) from the University of Nairobi. I have experience teaching Mathematics, Chemistry, and IGCSE Business Studies within the Cambridge curriculum, as well as providing personalised home-based tuition. I enjoy breaking down challenging concepts into clear, manageable steps while helping learners develop strong problem-solving, logical reasoning, and practical application skills. My approach focuses on building genuine understanding rather than simply memorising content, while preparing learners to confidently tackle both familiar and unfamiliar questions. I am patient, organised, and committed to understanding the individual needs of each learner. I strive to create a supportive learning environment where students can build confidence, think independently, and make steady academic progress.
